LeftieLee's
A launch film for Vivian Lee's neighborhood sandwich and bakeshop — full production, edit, motion, and social cuts.
Stills
The brief
A new shop opening in a neighborhood that already has its favorites needs more than a logo and a menu. Leftie Lee's needed a launch piece that introduced Vivian, the food, and the room without overselling any of them, and gave the brand a tone of voice it could carry forward.
Our approach
We led the project end to end. Production, direction, edit, motion, and a family of social cuts. The film follows Vivian's hands as much as her words, treats the kitchen like a character, and lets the neighborhood do most of the talking. The cut is patient on purpose. So is the brand we built around it.
In the work
Storybeforemenu
We resisted the temptation to lead with glossy food beauty shots. The film opens on the person, not the product, because that is what this shop actually is. The sandwiches sell themselves once you understand the room they came from.
Whyitmattered
Independent food brands grow on word of mouth. The launch film gave the neighborhood something to share that felt true to the place, and gave Leftie Lee's a story foundation it can build years of content on top of.
